Can you tell us what type of business you run and how long you've been operating this business?
The company I own is called EverGrow Consulting and it is a bookkeeping and business consulting company. I purchased the LLC in April 2021 but I have been working on this business for about a year and half.
Can you share with us some details about how you got started in the Accounting and Bookkeeping Industry?
I was working in the healthcare field and I really wanted to help people but I wasn't getting very far.
I thought about other good ways to help others and I found a pain point for many businesses that I was very good at, Bookkeeping. I was very good at accounting while obtaining my bachelor's and masters. Now, I help small/medium sized businesses save time, energy, and money.
If you've had some challenges and roadblocks along the way, Can you share with us what some of those challenges have been in regards to starting or running this business and how you overcame them?
Every business runs into challenges. While I am growing by word of mouth sales I am not growing via online sales. I am working on a marketing plan to help generate sales and clicks to my site.

While we may be great at our primary function of our businesses we cannot be pros at everything. For example, I know that I am not a secretary/assistant. Finding someone to help keep things organized and doing small tasks saves the company time and money. I can better focus on my client’s well-being and financial futures.
With all that you've accomplished so far, did setting goals contribute to your success so far?
Setting goals is incredibly important to the process of growing a business. Goals give us focus, drive, and something to look forward to. It sets the intentions for the business. My goals have helped me produce ads, find my ideal clients, and learn something new everyday.
Here at GoalSetters, we like to say " A Goal Without A Plan is Just A Wish", what's your advice on the best way that people can go about accomplishing the goals that they set?
Build a plan. Break down the goal into doable tasks. And then stick to the tasks. Identifying a goal can be easy. For example, a five figure month is the goal. My question is “how do I get to the goal?”.
I need a marketing plan and to find who my ideal client is. Once those are built I can move on to the client onboarding process and closing the deals. I am breaking my goal into doable tasks to help me not feel overwhelmed.
