I realized that I have to practice what I coach and be okay being me.  I believe in my journey.  I want others to have the same belief in their lives. I think it can also be hard to be seen and found when starting.  There are a lot of coaches pitching promises that I do not believe work, I think it can hurt the coaching industry.

Founder: Fig Life Coaching

Can you tell us what type of business you run and how long you've been operating this business?

The focus of my business is life, relationship/dating and sex coaching.  I have been in business a little over a year. I believe in fierce inner growth.

Can you share with us some details about how you got started in the Life and Sex Coaching Industry?

I was the co_founder of a girl empowerment group that became a non profit.  I was voted out right before Covid, which I now look at as a blessing.  It gave me time to think about where I wanted to be going with my career path.  It also gave me time to look back at my past and my growth. It became apparent, to me, that women still did not have the space to openly talk about sex and relationship/dating.  It was looked at as taboo or that they had to show perfect parts of their relationship. I wanted empower women to truly explore all areas of their lives, sex and pleasure is a big part of that.

I also have a fun podcast that helped me realize that this is the area in which I want to help people and to stop the taboo about talking openly about sex.

If you've had some challenges and roadblocks along the way, Can you share with us what some of those challenges have been in regards to starting or running this business and how you overcame them?

I think that running your own business can be scary.  You have to truly put yourself out there.  I wanted to talk about sex but was still worries about what others would think and say.

I learned to speak about my coaching, have conviction in beliefs and coaching style.

I think many feel like having a coach is a luxury that they can not afford.  I have been and continue to work on breaking that thought and making coaching accessible

Let's talk about the services you offer with Fig Life Coaching, who do you help, and how do you help?

I help worm find their voice and fierceness in life, dating and in their sex lives.  I help women in late 20’s and above( age of most of my clients) I offer sex coaching.  I also offer dating coaching and support with online dating.  I have 30 day and 3 month options as well as custom plans.

How important is it to dream big despite internal fears and believe you can accomplish what you desire?

It is huge! You can have fears and still dream big, color outside the lines.  Do not let fear hold you back and keep you stuck.  You are here to live life and enjoy it, not to be stuck.  Fear can actually help propel you forward and a coach can help you navigate that and support you.

What is your best advice for someone that desires to explore their sexuality while dealing with chronic illnesses?

I have a chronic illness and that was an issue for me for years.  I stayed silent and was ashamed to talk about it, not anymore.  Communicate your needs, desires and fears.  Explore and give yourself some grace.  Have boundaries and stick to them.  Find a safe space, a coach to talk to and work on a plan.  Read and explore.

With all that you've accomplished so far, did setting goals contribute to your success so far?

I do set goals and will continue to do that.  I also tend to be one to jump and see what happens.  Mistakes are okay, that is how we learn.

Here at GoalSetters, we like to say " A Goal Without A Plan is Just A Wish", what's your advice on the best way that people can go about accomplishing the goals that they set?

Journal.  Stay Accountable.  Find a coach that best fits your needs and who you feel comfortable being completely you with.  Don’t give up- success is not overnight, re-plan, see where you can make edits.  Be kind to yourself.

In closing, for those that may require your services or may need mentorship, how can they connect with you?
