Can you tell us what type of business you run and how long you've been operating this business?

At FinQuan, finance is our expertise and service is our passion. We aim to be the go to brand for everything finance. 

We offer multiple business essential services including but not limited to accounting and bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, receivables and payables management, Taxation Services We help you leverage the right cloud based tools and technologies to help you manage the business. We’re more than just talk. We commit to investing considerable time in understanding what our clients want and need most, where other agencies fall short, and what it takes to excel.


So even though we have years of experience across our team, FinQuan has been in business for 7 months. We took our first 3 to 4 months to set up systems and processes, security systems, legal compliances, and find the right team right fit, since we wanted to build a rock solid foundation before our launch, post the 4th month we formally incorporated the company and the search for more clients began. We can’t emphasize enough on the need for a solid foundation and systems that need to be in place for a business to grow.


Can you share with us some details about how you got started in the Accounting and Bookkeeping Industry?

Suyash Sidana, the co-founder is a Chartered Accountant himself with more than 7+ years of rich experience as a result of meticulous involvement with industry giants like PwC. Talking about myself (Anushka Handa) , I am an MBA Finance professional with experience spanning across an array of roles in financial planning, financial modeling and devising key strategies. Finance has been a common passion for the both of us. 


During the pandemic we understood the dire need for small-medium businesses to build a solid financial foundation so that they are on top of what is going on with their businesses. Budding entrepreneurs to small- medium businesses owners across the world are the backbone of the economies, so our sole aim is to ensure timely, and cost effective management solutions of their accounts enabling their business to grow and thrive. We continuously strive to educate and assist our clients with best and up to date financial practices to have a grip of their books at all times and simultaneously reduce costs significantly. We strive to give our professional services with a personal touch and make sure that we act like an in-house accounting team and do what’s the best for our clients.

If you've had some challenges and roadblocks along the way, Can you share with us what some of those challenges have been in regards to starting or running this business and how you overcame them?

Alright, this is an interesting one. So, being in the service industry for so long, we have realized the strength of any service providing organization is its team members. Getting more team members on board was a very time consuming process but we were very meticulous with selecting our team. We want our team to believe in the vision of our company- “Where Service Meets Value” and want each of them to go beyond the client's expectations and challenge the status quo. We have a quality team consisting of qualified Chartered Accountants, CPA and MBA professionals who are committed to provide value added, cost effective solutions. Having found the right fit of team members, Our Team is indeed our biggest asset now! Additionally, another roadblock which we were able to convert as our strength was the location barrier. But, if the post pandemic era has taught us one thing, it does not matter where you are, what matters is what you do. Remote working models have taken the front seat. We also have representatives for our company based in New York and Minnesota. We have realized that practically the whole world is working remotely now and people realise the importance and need for globalization and collaboration. Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much. 


Another roadblock was building the brand image and social media management. An important aspect to overcome this is getting the right and relatable content for everyone to see and networking plays a crucial role for brand building.


For us Organic reach has been the go to turning factor - live webinars, clubhouse house sessions and friends and family across the globe has made it easier to tap into our target audience, build strong relationships and convey the essence of our Company.

Let's talk about the services you offer, who do you help, and how do you help?

As mentioned above we provide essential financial services to maintain the sound health of any organization/company/business. We offer a multitude of services but not limited to accounting, bookkeeping, receivables and payables management, payroll , financial reporting and tax preparation services. We act as One Stop Solution for optimized costs, increased efficiency and Growth. Through our services we empower CPA Accounting and bookkeeping firms in the digital age. We help them scale up operations and clients, increase their revenue and add more productive hours to the day.


We provide small and medium business owners across several industries their own dedicated and personal accounting team without the expense of hiring an in house professional. We care about our clients’ success and effectively employ our industry specific knowledge to bring them tailor made, personalized and innovative solutions.

What's your best advice for those that desire to improve their finances?

Keeping a statement on the financial health of a company is vital for any business. Keeping a balanced check on your company can help you determine if your company is growing or falling back. A company can make sure its expenses do not exceed its revenue to sustain their finance. 



On a lighter note I truly believe DIY : good for crafts and not for your finances and taxes! If you think good accounting/bookkeeping is expensive you should look at the cost of bad accounting!

Not maintaining your finances has a big cost attached to it, the choice is yours which one to pay! What would you do?

With all that you've accomplished so far, did setting goals contribute to your success so far?

We believe the vision behind each business is the true guiding force. In order to achieve the objectives, every business needs to have short term as well as long term goals.  Setting goals helps you with the long term vision and the short term motivation. Goal setting has helped us a lot especially to align ourselves with the vision of our company and have helped us focus and sustain momentum. Moreover, setting milestones is another important aspect to evaluate your business goals and to take corrective actions when you are off course in order to achieve the end goals. In the end, you can’t manage what you don’t measure and you can’t improve something that you can’t manage properly.

Here at GoalSetters, we like to say " A Goal Without A Plan is Just A Wish", what's your advice on the best way that people can go about accomplishing the goals that they set?



This is a great question. Benjamin Franklin rightly said that -“ Failing to plan is planning to fail”. These words still hold their ground today. But, I would like to add here that merely planning doesn’t run the business. Planning is incomplete until you Implement those plans. There are no half measures when it comes to being a business person or an entrepreneur. You need to have proper systems, workflows, processes and the right support staff in place in order to implement those plans. Merely having the right ingredients does not make a good dish, it's what the chef does out of those ingredients counts.
