Can you tell us what type of business you run and how long you've been operating this business?

Turtle Bay Payment Solutions was founded in March of 2021. We serve as the Business Owners Advocate in the Merchant Services/Credit Card/Electronic Payment industry space.


Can you share with us some details about how you got started in the Merchant Services Industry?

With over 25 years experience in IT and Finance, I shifted into entrepreneurship in 2018. As a multi-business owner, I ran into increasing frustrations with the high cost and lack of service/support for business owners within the Merchant Services (credit card payments) industry. Instead of giving in to what was offered in the market, I sought out a leader and expert in the industry with over 20 years of expertise to learn from. It did not take long to realize that business owners across the U.S. were paying significantly high costs and getting lousy service for their merchant services from the biggest providers in the industry. 


As a fellow business owner, I saw the opportunity to advocate for other business owners to ensure they are paying fairly for what they need while getting the products, services, and support they deserve. Thus, Turtle Bay Payment Solutions was created to serve as a trusted advocate for business owners to address all of the high costs and frustrations in the merchant services space and disrupt the industry with a new model of pricing, services & support.




If you've had some challenges and roadblocks along the way, Can you share with us what some of those challenges have been in regards to starting or running this business and how you overcame them?

The biggest challenge to overcome in our market is the perception that all merchant service providers charge too much and provide terrible support. We have tackled that challenge through building authentic relationships directly and through trusted referral partners while showing each client first hand the level of transparency, service and support we provide and deliver on. 

Let's talk about the services you offer, who do you help, and how do you help?

At Turtle Bay Payment Solutions we are a relationship based company that serves all business owners large and small. Helping them to navigate the often confusing and frustrating options of how to choose the right merchant service provider for their business. We work with business owners to drive down their monthly costs while providing the most stable and secure payments solution possible. 


Our Consultation and Cost Savings Analysis (CSA) are always complementary. Providing analysis of where a business owner is paying too much in rates, junk fees and hidden fees or validating that the rates they are currently paying are great and recommend you stay with what you have as long as you are happy with the service and support as well.





What's your best advice for those that desire to reduce the amount of FEES they pay to payment aggregators like Square, Stripe, or PayPal?

The first step I always recommend is to get a Free Cost savings Analysis (CSA) performed on your business. That is where we make the most significant impact in saving business owners money, then we look at the level of service, products, and support the business owner requires and if they are getting it with what they have in place today.


With all that you've accomplished so far, did setting goals contribute to your success so far?

Absolutely! Without clear, concise, and measurable goals a business cannot determine if they are on the right track or not and where to make adjustments when needed. If you can't measure it, you can’t change it. 

Our company operates from long term goals and short term goals that are reviewed and discussed frequently. 

Our goals and daily tasks are directly aligned with our strategic and organizational mission. The goals of the organization do not change (until accomplished), the method of achieving our goals does have the flexibility to change as needed in pursuit of the goals.






Here at GoalSetters, we like to say " A Goal Without A Plan is Just A Wish", what's your advice on the best way that people can go about accomplishing the goals that they set?



Once you have your goals defined with a deadline. I then recommend reverse engineering how to achieve the goals breaking down the tasks and milestones yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily. Holding yourself and your co-workers accountable to those goals.



Every person's role and projects in the organization should be clearly known and understood. With all roles working toward the same organizational goals.

Without this level of transparency and accountability people could be working on projects that are not aligned to the organizational mission thus pulling resources away from the goals, slowing the time to achieve or moving in the wrong direction for the company and those you serve.
