The biggest challenge for me was funding. All capital in my business came from my personal account. I worked full time to fund my part-time business.

Can you tell us what type of business you run and how long you've been operating this business?

Tax Preparation, Notary Public, Business Filing, Bookkeeping. I’ve had my tax business for 10 years.

Can you share with us some details about how you got started in the Tax Preparation and Bookkeeping Industry?

I started as a tax preparer for Instant Tax in 2008. Worked with them for 3 years. My third year, I became an auditor. I decided that I wanted to start my own business offering affordable prices with excellent customer service.

If you've had some challenges and roadblocks along the way, Can you share with us what some of those challenges have been in regards to starting or running this business and how you overcame them?

The biggest challenge for me was funding. All capital in my business came from my personal account. I worked full time to fund my part-time business. Another challenge is marketing. Marketing can be very expensive and it takes a while to find out what marketing techniques work for my business.

Let's talk about the services you offer, who do you help, and how do you help?

I offer affordable and convenient services to all my clients. I travel for notary and tax preparation and I also offer V-Prepare™ ( virtual preparation services). I educate my clients on tax laws and new rules.

What's your best advice for those that desire to improve their business finances this year?

The best advice I can give is to have a plan, connect with other business owners and do your research.

With all that you've accomplished so far, did setting goals contribute to your success so far?

Yes, setting goals is a major part of my success. It keeps me motivated, on track and allows me to measure my progress.

Here at GoalSetters, we like to say " A Goal Without A Plan is Just A Wish", what's your advice on the best way that people can go about accomplishing the goals that they set?

Stay focused and keep your eyes on the prize.

In closing, for those that may require your services or may need mentorship, how can they connect with you?
